25 Oct Regional Wine, Cheese and Honey Fair
Oil, gofio, mushrooms, almonds, craft beer, legumes, sweet potatoes and artisanal sausages of Canarian pork are the products that will add to the wines, cheeses and honey in this event that will be on November 2 and 3 in Valsequillo.
The program includes the screening of short films about cheeses, wines, shepherds and transhumant. There will also be a commented wine tasting by Josefina Rojas, a member of the tasting committee of the Regulatory Council of Denomination of Origin of Wines of Gran Canaria, in addition to a talk about curiosities of artisan cheeses.
On Saturday afternoon, Tifariti Square will host a concert of
los Salvapantallas at 6 pm, while on Sunday it will be the XVI edition of Timple (Canarian guitar) festival with Althay Páez.
